Dumont Borough Hall will be closed on Monday, February 22^nd, and will re-open Tuesday, February 23^rd at our new location at 50 Washington Avenue. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Dumont Borough Hall will continue to be open to the public by appointment only. We encourage all residents to address as much borough business as possible remotely. The Dumont Board of Recreation Commission Meeting on Wednesday February 3^rd  had to be canceled due to technical problems with the teleconference system.

Due to inclement weather, Dumont Borough Hall and Library are closed today, December 17th. The Borough will reopen for normal business on Friday, December 18th.

Due to the social distancing protocol as mandated by Governor Murphy in Executive Orders 107 and 108, and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et seq, the Governing Body of the Borough of Dumont will hold their December 15, 2020 meeting by means of communication equipment-N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b) at 6:30PM at Dumont Borough Hall  80 W. Madison Avenue, Dumont.  You will be muted for the duration of the meeting until the Public Comment portions of the agenda.  When calling in you must identify yourself with your address before you speak.  Formal Action shall be taken.

2021 Parking Permits Available

Please contact Cathy Romeo at 201-387-5027 to obtain your 2021 parking permit beginning 12/11. 

Due to the public health crisis, we kindly request a complete application be dropped off at the front door mail slot or mailed to Borough Hall located at 80 West Madison Avenue. A complete application must include a copy of your driver’s license and car registration, along with a check payable to "Borough of Dumont".

Permits will be mailed to residents.

The Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement program has been a vital lifeline for many seniors and disabled individuals throughout New Jersey, helping to keep their property taxes stable so they can remain in their homes well into their golden years.
