Leaf pickup begins October 17, 2022 and ends the second week of December.
Leaves may be placed in the street along the curb. Leaves may be put in bio-degradable leaf bags.
DO:
- Place leaves in the street at curb, leave room for rainwater to run along the curb line.
- If you bag your leaves, use only brown biodegradable paper leaf bags.
- Once your leaves have been picked up, wait at least 2 days before putting out new piles.
- Remove basketball hoops from leaf pile pickup areas.
DO NOT:
- Place any leaf pile within 10 feet of a storm water basin. **THIS IS A VIOLATION OF STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS**
- Put leaves or blow leaves into the storm water basin or brooks.
- Park on top of leaf piles.
- Park your vehicle in the street blocking leaf pile pickup.
- Place leaves or branches on brough owned property, right of ways, or parks.
